Join us Saturday February 7th at 7pm (doors at 6:30pm) for a night of winter film, community, and stoke. Mountain Goat, in conjunction with Patagonia and BBA Rock Climbing, are bringing to you a series of Patagonia Films and local films highlighting winter sports and community/climate activism.
The evening takes place at the Riley Center for the Arts at Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester, Vermont. The BBA Rock Climbing team will be holding a bakesale at entry to raise money for their program this winter season. The festival will be donating 100% of ticket sales to our non profit partners Share Winter Foundation and Smokey House Center.
All ages are welcome and parking is free on-site. Your ticket purchase includes (1) raffle ticket per person. Additional tickets can be purchased at walk up for the raffle. Raffle will include Patagonia products and give-aways.
Here are the two non profit organizations we'll be benefiting:
Share Winter Foundation
Skiing and snowboarding have always been powerful. But for too long, participation has depended on race, zip code, or wealth. Share Winter Foundation is changing that. They fund youth-focused programs that get kids on snow — and raise expectations for what real inclusion in winter sports can look like. They believe access to joy is essential. So is visibility. So is scale.
Smokey House Center
For over fifty years, Smokey House Center has been successfully dedicated to its mission of maintaining a working landscape that promotes sustainable agricultural and forestry practices while engaging people in meaningful ways.
